Lumi are small canine like creatures that walk on their two hind legs. There are 11 varients of Lumi that live on the planet. Young lumi go through trials to unlock their destinies and find their true forms, these are typically based on specifics things.Warrior Lumi - Based on Animals

Lumi have unique aspects to them which allow for them to adapt and live on their planet.Lumi Cheek Pouches: Lumi have small star-shaped cheek pouches that store their magic. These are the first part of a Lumi that develops first and grows at the fastest rate.Lumi Ankle Wings: Lumi ankle wings work like a small double jump, when a lumi is jumping across a large gap they can use their wings to get extra distance. While they can't stay in the air for long they help when travelling around their planet.Lumi Neck Puff: Lumi store a large amount of their magic into their neck puff, when a lumi produces magic from their cheeks any access falls into their neck and acts as a backup storage, this neck puff can take different shapes depending on their subtype.Lumi Bell: The Lumi Bell is the life force of the lumi, it sits tightly into their neck puff and leaves a dent into their chest skeleton. Once a lumi finds a soulmate they will temporarily unlodge their bell for their youngling ceremony. Bells can be any colour but typically are gold, silver or rose gold.Lumi Paw and Feet Pads: Lumi have star-shaped pads on their paws and feet, these are formed out of stardust. This means when a lumi walks they temporarily leave a stardust trail which slowly vanishes.
Lumi Life CycleLumi typically live for 500 thousand years, which is considered their average lifespan, though many have been known to live even longer. Lumi eat a healthy balanced diet of both meat and vegetables making them omnivores.Chimling: The first form of a Lumi, granted to their parents through a unique process. Lumi don't reproduce like humans; instead, they use their bells along with their soulmates at the Ancient Star Shrine to bring forth a Chimling.Lumiling: Lumilings are small, squishy beings with distinctive features. They typically have small, rounded ears and short nub tails, which grow once they complete their destiny trial. Their neck fluff is round and almost too big for them, and their bell also appears oversized, but they will eventually grow into these features.Mature Lumi: A Lumi becomes mature shortly after completing their destiny trial. In this final form, their bell, tails, and ears take shape. Mature Lumi also develop claws and ankle wings, distinguishing them from Lumilings, who lack ankle wingsElder Lumi: This stage typically takes shape in the late 400 thousand years or early 500 thousand years. Elder Lumi start to grow weaker, their ankle wings stop working and they start to turn into stardust. There is no pain felt when an elder lumi starts to leave stardust/Decaying Bell: This is the final form of a Lumi. Their bell will remain after they have turned back into stardust. Typically their bells are buried or kept in a safe place by their family but there have been rare sightings of bells left to decay.

Misery:Misery is one of the direct descendants of the treacherous Grimshade, a secret she guards closely, fearing banishment from the kingdom of Starpost should the truth be revealed.In the shadows of the ancient Star Shrine, Misery resides in a sprawling hut. Here, she quietly nurtures hope and knowledge, hosting clandestine classes for young lumilings who seek to alter their destinies or expand their horizons. In the flickering light of her hearth, she weaves tales of wisdom and magic, guiding her pupils with a gentle hand while concealing the dark lineage that shadows her heart.Misery had always been a quiet bookworm, often found nestled in the libraries, losing herself among the pages of ancient tomes. Born without parents to nurture her, she was a solitary lumiling from the start. Known throughout the land as the mighty fisherman, Dude is a master of his craft, often teaching young lumilings the art of fishing and the secrets of the best bait.Dude and his family were humble and unassuming villagers, residing in a small fishing town. They lived a quiet life, far from the hustle and bustle of the grand kingdom. Dude's father, affectionately known as Bro, was his constant companion and mentor. From a young age, Bro took Dude under his wing, sharing with him the ancient fishing techniques passed down through their family for generations.Together, they would rise with the dawn, their silhouettes framed against the rising sun as they cast their lines into the shimmering waters. Bro imparted his wisdom, teaching Dude not only the practical skills of fishing but also the patience and tranquility that came with it. Lumi dwell in hand-crafted wooden houses or stone buildings, reminiscent of medieval human architecture.
Lumi HistoryLong before the Lumi walked the land, the Ancient Star Shrine stood as a testament to the timeless magic of Lalea. Crafted from stone and sculpted by the forces of nature, the shrine endured countless storms, its ancient form a silent witness to the ages. Then came the fateful day when a dying star descended from the heavens, colliding with the shrine and splitting three bells from its impact. Two bells fell to the ground, while the other lodged itself within the shrine, becoming the legendary Ancient Bell.From the fallen bells emerged two powerful beings. The first, who came to be known as Father Lumi, was a benevolent figure and the founder of the Lumi civilization. The other became known as the Great Evil, embodying darkness and strife. These ancient beings were the progenitors of all Lumi and the architects of the land’s earliest history. Father Lumi also known as Starpost, ascended as the first King of Starpost, a kind and just ruler, beloved by all who knew him. His kingdom flourished under his warm and loving guidance.However, his brother Grimshade, born from the same celestial event, harbored a deep resentment towards Starpost. Despite Starpost's endless warmth and compassion, Grimshade's heart remained closed, filled with envy and spite. He despised his brother's kindness and sought to undermine him at every turn. Spookie BearsSpookie bears are small bipedal companions that attach very quickly to a singular Lumi. Spookie bears are small lost or thrown-out plush that have come back to life. These plush typically trap lost souls in their neck fluff which gives them life to move.Spookie bears are never without large neck poofs as they want to identify closely to their master Lumi. Spookie bears often have a main soul that flies around them and acts like a second head. while Lumi can't hear them, the spookie bears can communicate with them.Spookie Bears have large zips that typically sit on their stomach, these have developed into endless pits and often hold their master's items and act like portable storages. Spookie bears don't have poseable fingers and often have big chunky plush paws.Spookie bears also have a small tag on their leg, once they have found their forever Lumi they will embroider their owner's name into their tag. Spookie bears are immortal and are often seen at their Lumi’s graves. Where they sit awaiting their master's return.Spooki bears: have a 50% chance to bring you a gift every time you draw your spooki bear with your lumi
BubblelotlBubblelotl are a closed species and cannot be made freelyBubblelotl are slender salamander creatures with little nubs on their heads. Buttlelotls are often seen in marsh areas hanging about in small groups of 3-5.Bubblelotls have a singular extended feeler that typically are shaped to the bubblelotl's desired shape, this may only develop once and then their feeler is stuck like that shape forever. Bubblelotl can have either 2,4 or 6 gills. The more gills the stronger the bubblelotl. These gills often store a special liquid that they use to make their special bubbles.Bubblelotls special bubbles are made out of a special liquid that is used to water and give nutrients to plants and trees. These creatures are important for the environment and anyone who owns too many is often shunned as this means you have taken bubblelotls out of their natural habitat.Bubblelotls have two different forms. Wild and Tamed. Over the years Lumi have tried to breed bubblelotls to make sure that there is always enough bubblelotl to keep their planet thriving. Sadly over the years, these bubblelotl have become more plump and squishy, unlike their long slender wild forms. These bubblelotl can’t be released to the wild and are often seen as companions to Lumi.Bubblelotl must eat at least one fish a week which will sit in their slightly see through body and slowly dissolve. A Bubblelotl rarely has to eat more than once a week but tamed ones typically try to eat three times a week.Bubblelotls: have a 50% chance to find stardust when fishing
SheepapillersSheepapillers are long-segmented creatures made of leaf-like fur. Sheepapillers are often found in kingdoms with wealthy kings and queens as sheepapillers cost lots of coins to maintain. A healthy and happy sheepapiller is often 5 segments long and can bloom beautiful flowers, for a sheepapiller to grow flowers they must consume only the seeds of the flowers they need to grow. Each sheepapiller often has a carer that trims its fur to ensure they are smooth and round.Baby Sheepapillers are called Shrubs. They are typically only one segment long with two small legs. Due to their poor balance, they are often seen rolling around or tipped over. Shrubs are born from little eggs that must be kept warm but must get lots of sunlight or they may hatch into Hedgeapillers.If a baby shrub isn't well cared for then it may turn into a Hedgeapiller. These bulky variants are often untrimmed and incapable of growing flowers. They typically have large stumpy horns instead of the Sheepapiller’s elegant leaf antenna.If a Shrub is left to fend in the wild they often turn into Berrypillers. These are often only two segments long and grow berries, Berrypillers don't have to eat the seeds of the berries to grow them as they often just sprout randomly.Sheepapillers can grow up to 10 segments long and are often seen as royal Sheepapillers. These are often shown off in annual Sheepapiller shows where the most beautifully trimmed and long Sheepapiller will be crowned Sheepapiller of the year.Sheepapillers, Hedgeapiller, and Berrypillers often live for 30 years before they wilt away and leave nothing but a motionless bush to remember them by.Sheepapillers : have a 25% chance to roll you a status fruit when foraging
DigigoonsDigigoons are futuristic dragon-like creatures that suddenly appeared hundreds of years ago, these are rarer creatures that have evolved. They were originally sent from the future of a distant planet to observe the creatures and scan wildlife but they slowly became comfortable on Lalea and made Their home with the Lumi.Digigoons are half-mechanical creatures with a digital face and scanner-like eyes. These scanners can identify objects. Digigoons then display a screen with their horns to show the information that they have learned. Digigoons also have large pouches that are made out of a strong flesh-like material that keeps valuable items secured and safe. They can store up to 100 items in their pouches before they become heavy and uncomfortable.Digigoons have three different variants that Lumi have named over time. Their nicknames are Pocketgoons and Unigoons. Digigoons are their default variant but can also evolve into the other two. Baby Digigoons are called Digichips. Digichips are born from small eggs and can be guided to evolve into the desired variant. If a Lumi stores Digichips in small spaces such as their pocket or backpack they won't have the space to grow into a full-sized Digigoon so they evolve into a pocketgoon. For a Lumi to get a Unigoon they must expose their Digichips to a magical rainbow rock that is found in special waterfalls every thousand years.Digigoon: have a 50% to bring you back an ingredient during farming
